Description
What makes this guitar special: Wonderfully resonant with a warm, rich tone. Vibrant, sunburst finish with all nickel hardware. Professionally set up by Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age - various minor nicks & digs; some small chips in the top of the headstock; surface scratches & weather checking throughout. There is a "2" in the back of the headstock just above the serial number indicating the guitar is a factory second. However, there are no structural or electronic issues at all with the guitar. Overall it has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded, medium profile mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Beautiful, dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Original Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with adjustable nylon saddles. Pickguard is missing. The orange Gibson label inside the body is missing & in its place is a music store label. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 9.5 oz.
Pickup: Original P-90 single coil with "dog ear" nickel cover - 8.43K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are original & in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
