Cosmetic Condition: Typical play wear for a 50 plus year old guitar - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There's a chip in the 14th fret of the treble side of the fingerboard & the headstock decal has worn off. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with beautiful rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners with cream buttons in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 24" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 8 FEB 65 A.
Body: Offset, double-cutaway solid body finished in red. Dynamic Vibrato tailpiece with original trem arm. Six-saddle adjustable bridge (bridge cover is missing). 3-ply white pearloid pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 2.4 oz.
Pickups: Original grey bottom single coils dating to '65. Master volume & tone controls; 3-way selector switches. Pots date to '64 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The case is in similar condition to the guitar.
