Cosmetic Condition: Authentic vintage look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & finish checking. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Strip tuners in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, solid mahogany body. Single-ply, black pickguard in great shape with no cracks or breaks & the Melody Maker silkscreen logo is very clear. Tremolo tailpiece with compensated bridge; chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 11.5 oz.
Pickups: Gibson single coils. Bridge - 6.83K ohms; Neck - 6.95K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '65.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action - necks plays well & is very comfortable. Sweet, rich Melody Maker tones.
