The single coil pickup sounds strong & the neck plays great up & down the fretboard. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so she's ready to go straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck that get chunkier as you work your way up the fretboard. Dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Unoriginal Schaller tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, solid mahogany body. Tremolo tailpiece & compensated bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply black pickguard with Melody Maker logo. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 9.1 oz.
Electronics: Single coil bridge pickup - 6.98K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. Pots are original & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
