Description

What makes this guitar special:  Super cool vintage vibe & a great player!  Comfortable neck that gets chunkier as you work your way up the fretboard.  Lightweight yet very resonant & the single coil pickup kicks out some nice spanky tones.  Professionally set up by Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action, so she's ready to play straight out of the case!

Cosmetic Condition:  Great shape for being 50 years old!  There are obvious signs of typical play wear - various nicks, chips, dents, dings & surface scratches.  There were some decals on the body at one time as evidenced by some light 'ghosting' in the finish.  There are some black marks on the back of the body - not exactly sure what that's from, but it appears to have been made by a black permanent marker.  An extra strap button was added to the bass side horn.  The truss rod cover is missing.  The 'E' emblem came unglued from the pickguard, but is included with the guitar.  Overall the guitar has a cool look to it with a gorgeous patina.

Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots.  Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays.  Original frets are in great shape with no wear.  Batwing headstock with gold script logo.  Original Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with cream buttons in perfect working condition.  1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.

Body:  Contoured, asymmetrical, solid mahogany body.  Tremolo tailpiece with compensated bridge & chrome hardware.  Single-ply white pickguard has aged nicely into a cream color.  Guitar weighs 5 lbs 15.7 oz.

Pickup:  Single coil bridge pickup with black cover - 7.06K ohms.  Master volume & tone controls - black 'top hat' knobs with silver inserts & red arrows.  The tone knob has a small chip in the top.  Both pots date to '66 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case:  Vintage chipboard case included.
