What makes this guitar special: 100% original & in great shape for its age. The natural finish has mellowed beautifully into a golden color. The neck is pretty skinny & super comfortable to play. The guitar has a natural, woody acoustic tone, but when plugged in the double humbuckers sound warm & rich. Professionally set up by our own luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with light play wear - various minor nicks & dings; surface scratches & mild weather checking. Overall the guitar has a wonderful look to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear & plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Florentine cutaway, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Chrome trapeze tailpiece & compensated rosewood bridge. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. 3-ply top binding & single ply back binding. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 8.2 oz.
Pickups: Pat No. humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 7.18K ohms; Neck - 7.26K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original Gibson chipboard case included along with original hang tags.
