What makes this guitar special: This Vintage Gretsch has a lot of character and charm. Featuring a single HiLoTron pickup with all original components, it’s a great player with a ton of life left in it! The two-tone green finish has aged nicely, with just the right amount of finish checking. It plays wonderfully up and down the fretboard, and will have you playing for hours at a time. Plus, it comes with a professional setup from CreamCity Music-so you can be sure it’ll arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Good condition for its age! There are various small scratches, scuffs, nicks, and dings throughout the instrument, as well as some expected finish checking. Many of these spots have been touched up by an amateur at some point in its past. These spots are primarily along on the back of the neck, as well as two spots on the backside of the headstock where the finish appears to have been worn from hanging on a stand. There is some finish cracking along the treble side of the neck joint, some hardware oxidation, and the binding has browned in a few spots as well.
Body: Double bound maple hollow body with dual f-holes in 2-tone green finish. Gretsch trapeze tailpiece and space roller bridge. Pickguard shows some light pickwear, but is in otherwise great shape.
Weight: 6lb, 12oz
Neck: Nicely rounded neck with rosewood fingerboard and pearloid thumbnail inlays. 1 11/16” nut, with 24 1/2" scale length. Open gear tuners are in full functioning condition. Frets show some signs of wear in the first position, but still have a ton of life left in them! Headstock features a mother-of-pearl Gretsch logo, and “Anniversary Model” stamp. Neck is straight and plays beautifully up and down the fretboard.
Electronics: Original Gretsch HiLoTron pickup in the neck position (3.37K ohms) with 3-way tone selector switch and Gretsch “G Arrow” volume knob.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
