What makes this bass special: A wonderful player's grade P-Bass that offers superb tone & playability. Original '69 neck, neckplate, pickups & bridge on an unoriginal Warmoth body with newer pickguard & pots. The body finish is a very eye-catching metallic agave blue & is very clean. The bass is light weight & super comfortable to play with a silky smooth neck that feels great no matter where you are on the fretboard. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Very clean overall due to the newer parts, but there some signs of mild play wear - a few minor nicks & dings here & there along with various surface scratches. The neck has been refinished & has had the nut replaced. Overall, the bass is in great shape & looks very clean.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with beautiful rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Unoriginal tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neckplate is original with serial number 299744. Neck stamp dates to 1969.
Body: Unoriginal Warmoth body, finished in metallic agave blue. Original top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles. Unoriginal 3-ply white pickguard. Bass weighs 8 lbs 11.1 oz.
Electronics: Original split single coil pickup - 10.63K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Newer pots. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The case was painted white on the outside quite some time ago & has since aged & faded.
