Cosmetic Condition: A gorgeous looking guitar with a super cool vintage vibe happening. The Brazilian rosewood back & sides are simply stunning, with lots of variegation & color in the grain. The guitar has a single 5" crack in the back, lower bout bass side, that's been professionally repaired by us. It was glued, not cleated & is very stable with no issues. Aside from that the guitar is in great shape for its age with a beautiful patina. There are various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & finish checking. The neck was reset some time ago; it is straight & very playable. Overall the guitar has a wonderful, gently played look to it & has been professionally set up by us so it plays exceptionally well.
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with no wear. Grover Pat Pend tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well. An after-market strap button was added to the treble side of the neck heel.
Body: Dreadnought body with multi-layered top & back binding. Solid spruce top with ebony bridge. The bridge is firmly attached to the top with no lifting. Original black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid Brazilian rosewood back & sides really makes this guitar stand out!
Pickup: An after-market, passive under-saddle pickup was added with a 1/4" jack as the end-pin.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included.
