Cosmetic Condition: Rare, all original bass with a cool vintage vibe! Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. This bass was played - and there's a reason for it - it sounds great! Even the mute mechanism works! Overall the bass has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina. It has been professionally gone over & set up by us. A must have for any serious collector!
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with very dark rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Gibson-logo Schaller tuners in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 30 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Single cutaway, "sandwich" mahogany body with top binding. Top-loading bridge with adjustable nylon saddles & bridge cover. String mute mechanism works great & has a nice, soft felt pad. Bass weighs 11.45 lbs.
Pickups: Les Paul Low Impedance bass pickups. Master volume, treble & bass controls with black "top hat" knobs. 3-way Tone Selector; In & Out Phase Switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original Gibson Les Paul Bass literature.
