Description
What makes this guitar special: 100% original with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe. Features include an all mahogany body & neck with a pair of Gibson-embossed, low impedance pickups. The four knobs are volume, decade, treble & bass controls along with a phase switch & 3-way tone selector. Professionally set up by our luthier so it plays great!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical play wear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some buckle rash on the back of the body. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck that gets chunkier as you work your way up the fretboard. Beautifully aged cream binding with tortoise side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Original small frets with hardly any wear. G logo Schaller tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany "sandwich" body in walnut finish. The body is a bit wider than regular Les Pauls, with a lower bout width of 14". Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with adjustable nylon saddles. Single-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 11.55 lbs.
Pickups: Gibson-embossed, low impedance pickups with chrome bezels. Master volume, notched Decade control; treble & bass controls all with black "top hat" knobs. 3-way pickup toggle switch; 2-way out/in phase switch & 3-way tone selector switch. All electronics are in good working condition, however, since the pickups are low impedance they do sound much quieter than what typical Les Pauls sound like.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
