Cosmetic Condition: Well played with lots of road wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. The G tuner is slightly bent, but still functions properly. Neck is straight & truss functions well. The front of the headstock has darkened quite a bit, but there is no nicotine odor from the bass. Overall it has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded, slender profile maple neck with black binding & pearloid side-dots. Maple fingerboard with black block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Fender, open-gear tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck date is MAR 72.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in black. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable saddles. Bridge cover is missing. 3-ply, white pickguard has aged nicely into more of a cream color & is in great shape with no cracks or breaks. Bass weighs 9 lbs 10.8 oz.
Pickups: Original Jazz Bass single coils. Bridge - 7.94K ohms; Neck - 6.63K ohms. Dual volume & master tone controls. Original wiring & pots date to '72. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
