Description
What makes this guitar special: Super clean & lightweight Tele Custom body & electronics from '73 coupled with an equally clean Tele Thinline neck from '75. The Trans Mocha finish show off the beautiful ash body & the neck sports that ultra comfortable rounded profile that makes these '70s Fenders a dream to play. Professionally set up by Cream City Music, so it sounds fantastic! Original hardshell case included - also very clean!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition for its age with hardly any wear - some very tiny nicks & dings along with mild surface scratches, but overall in great shape!
Neck: Tele Thinline maple neck which dates to '75. Black dot inlays & original frets in perfect condition with no wear. Bullet truss rod & double string trees. There's a very tiny hole next to the bass side string tree. Looks like a previous owner may have tried to move the tree, but didn't go all the way. Headstock decals look sharp & are in great shape. Original F logo tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition. The neck/body connection is very tight unlike many you typically see from the period.
Body: Solid ash body in a gorgeous mocha finish. The top & back are a light brown & the sides are a bit darker for a cool color combination. String-thru bridge with three adjustable barrel saddles. 3-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks, but does show some pickwear. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 12.8 oz.
