Description
What makes this guitar special: A spectacular, true vintage Thinline with a super cool vibe! The guitar has that wonderful acoustic resonance we all look for in a semi-hollow body electric & the pair of Wide Range humbuckers deliver an absolutely gorgeous, warm, rich tone that seems to sustain for days. Visually the guitar is a real beauty - perfectly aged with that nice weathered look vintage players love to see in an old guitar. The pro refret makes it a dynamite player, guaranteed to cut it on stage or in the studio. Pro set up included so she's ready to go straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: A true vintage beauty with good, honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. The pickguard has shrunk a bit with one small crack near one of the screws. There's also a bit of bubbling or chipping in the guard near the volume knob from years of use. The natural finish has aged marvelously over the years, turning into a beautiful golden caramel color. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Semi-chunky maple neck with skunk stripe & black dot inlays. The guitar had already been refretted with slightly bigger frets when we acquired it. It's a pro job & the frets are in great shape with no wear. Bullet truss rod & double string trees. Headstock decals are also in great shape with no bits missing. Original F tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition. Neck stamp reads 3 JAN 73 B.
Body: Semi-hollow ash body with single F-hole. String-thru bridge with adjustable saddles & original 3-ply pearloid pickguard. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 7 oz.
