Description
Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage vibe with some mods that make it a great player's grade guitar. It's got that well-played look with various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking, finish blemishes & play wear. The previous owner kept a pick jammed between the pickguard & top of the body, which eventually left a ghosting image of the pick in the finish, which is actually kind of cool. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina. It's been professionally set up by us & sounds awesome.
Neck: Maple neck with beautiful, dark rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. The original tuners were replaced with chrome mini Grovers, which are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck dates to '74.
Body: Solid ash body in natural finish. String-thru bridge with three adjustable barrel saddles. Original bridge cover included. 3-ply black pickguard has a couple of small cracks & is slightly warped, but fits with the whole look of the guitar. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 15.5 oz.
Pickups: Original Wide Range Fender neck humbucker dates to '74 - 10.55K ohms. Unoriginal Seymour Duncan Hotrail bridge pickup - 21.22K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with original "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
