What makes this guitar special: A super cool Deluxe with a great vintage vibe to it. This guitar was somebody's favorite as evidenced by the good honest play wear throughout the guitar. A perfectly shaped neck & a pair of killer sound mini humbuckers make the guitar a real joy to play. Warm, rich tone with wonderful sustain. A pro set up is included so the guitar is guaranteed to play great straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: This one has definitely seen some action - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There are four extra screw holes surrounding the jack plate. Overall the guitar has a great, well-worn look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded, medium profile mahogany neck with aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Gibson Deluxe "double lip" tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany "sandwich" body with plain maple cap & cream binding. Stopbar tailpiece with ABR-1 bridge. Single-ply cream pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. The original strap buttons are included with the guitar. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 3.4 oz.
Pickups: Original mini humbuckers with cream bezels. Bridge - 5.83K ohms; Neck - 5.90K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '74 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included - similar condition as the guitar.
