Description
What makes this guitar special: An exceptional guitar with a cool vintage vibe & gorgeous voice! This beautiful 12-string plays & sounds marvelous, delivering a rich, bright tone that is well balanced. Professionally set up by our luthier so it's in perfect playing condition with nice low action. The neck is very comfortable & performs well up & down the fretboard.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical play wear for a guitar of its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There's a very minor crack in the back of the body about 3 1/2" long. The initials W.A.A. are etched into the back of the headstock, probably from a previous owner. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Rounded mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Slotted headstock with rosewood overlay. Strip tuners with pearloid buttons in perfect working condition. 1 7/8" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great up & down the fingerboard.
Body: Round shoulder dreadnought with bound top & back. Solid spruce top with rosewood bridge & unoriginal end pins. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany back & sides with geometric design center strip. A strap button was added just below the neck heel. There is no pickup. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 7.1 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
