Description
Cosmetic Condition: A very nice rendition of Gibson's classic Dove model. Excellent condition overall with various minor nicks & dings along with surface scratches. There's also some light finish chipping along the body binding, but it's not too bad. Overall the guitar is in great shape with a gorgeous patina & offers a bright, punchy tone.
Neck: Mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with parallelogram inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear & plenty of life in them. Chrome tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought in natural finish with bound top & back. Solid spruce top with 5-ply binding. Rosewood bridge with dove inlays. Tortoise-style pickguard with floral & dove motif. The pickguard is lifting up just a bit near the neck, but could be removed & re-glued if need be. Rosewood sides & back with 4-ply binding.
