Description
What makes this guitar special: A great playing solid body Ric 12-String with an ultra cool vintage vibe. The large white scratchplate against the classic Jetglo finish gives the guitar a nice tuxedo look. The rounded maple neck is very comfortable & plays great up & down the fretboard. Professionally set up by our own luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & weather checking. At one time the guitar had a stop tailpiece installed just behind the bridge as evidenced by the two unoriginal screw holes through the pickguard & top of the body. There are no additional routes in the body. The truss rod cover is unoriginal & states that the model is a 330. Aside from that the guitar is all original & in good working condition.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with thick rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Slotted headstock with Nickel Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rods are functioning.
Body: Neck-thru design with solid maple wings. Chrome bridge plate with serial number QD 1370 & compensated saddle. Single-ply large white pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 1.1 oz.
Pickups: Rickenbacker Hi-Gain single coils. Bridge - 5.41K ohms; Neck - 12.54K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '75 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
