Description
What makes this guitar special: A bad ass Custom with a cool vintage vibe & dynamite tone! We love the color combination of Wine Red finish with the gold hardware, all perfectly aged with good, honest play wear. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so she's ready to hit the stage upon arrival!
Cosmetic Condition: This baby's seen some action - lots of nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, buckle rash, weather checking & some finish wear. A lot of the gold hardware has tarnished & there's a small finish touch up on the top of the body, down near the strap button. Overall the guitar shows off some killer vintage mojo with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged white binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original small frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Multi-bound headstock with mother of pearl diamond inlays. Gold Gibson tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. The neck has some chipping around the heel but is structurally sound and sets up well without any issues.
Body: Solid mahogany body with plain maple top & multiple binding. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with gold hardware. Guitar weighs 10.7 lbs.
Electronics: Gibson Pat No. humbuckers with gold covers & cream bezels. Bridge - 7.30K ohms. Neck - 7.35K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Original pots date to '78 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. One of the latches is broken, but the case still closes fine.
