Description
Cosmetic Condition: 100% original with a cool look for a 35-year old guitar. There are various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, finish blemishes & play wear. No cracks, breaks or repairs. Overall the guitar has a great vibe & is a dynamite player! It has been professionally set up by us with a fresh set of .10-.46 gauge strings & low action, so it plays marvelously.
Neck: Wide, flat maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful, dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Original frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gibson floral tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with bound maple top. The wine red finish is really gorgeous & the middle section of the top shows off some pretty birdseye figuring. Stopbar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge & chrome hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard is in great shape with only a very tiny crack near the screw closer to the neck. Guitar weighs 10.4 lbs.
Pickups: Original Gibson mini humbuckers. Dual volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pickups & pots all date to '79. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
