Description
What makes this bass special: We love finding great guitars for our lefty customers & here's a dynamite Japanese-made '62 Reissue Jazz Bass from '86 that needs a new home. This one was definitely played & shows lots of character from being on the road. Set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some finish wear. There's a very minor, superficial crack in the headstock near the E tuner. Also there's a series of numbers that were etched into the base of the neck just above the serial number. Overall the bass has a cool, well-played look to it & is very vibey.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with some light to moderate wear & plenty of life in them. Nickel tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body in 3-tone sunburst finish. Top-loading bridge with adjustable "barrel" saddles & 4-ply tortoise pickguard. Bass weighs 10 lbs 2.4 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal DiMarzio Jazz Bass pickups with dual volume & master tone controls. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Road Runner hardshell case included.
