Super cool, true vintage tone & feel! This H-78 model features three DeArmond single coils each with its own 2-way on/off switch along with triple volume & tone controls. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Typical play wear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great vibe to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Semi-chunky maple neck with 3-ply binding & black side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. 4-ply headstock overlay with missing Airline logo. Open-gear tuners with white buttons. The B tuner is bent, but still functions properly. 1 3/4" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions properly.
Body: Double-cutaway, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Bound top & back with some nice flame figuring in the body. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with simple, adjustable wooden bridge. The low E side of the saddle has chipped off a bit, but still functions. Pickguard is missing & the guitar weighs 7 lbs 2.2 oz.
Electronics: Three DeArmond single coils each with its own 2-way on/off toggle switch. Volume & tone controls for each pickup with "lampshade" knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
