Description
An absolutely gorgeous, true vintage beauty in clean condition offering superb playability & dynamic tone. And it's fretless! The amber tone natural finish body pairs marvelously with the black pickguard & dark rosewood fingerboard - just a really gorgeous look overall. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it's ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused & showing signs of some normal play wear. There's a pretty good sized dent in the bottom of the body, but elsewhere it's gentle use - various minor nicks & dings; mild surface scratches. Overall the bass looks wonderful with a great vibe & gorgeous patina.
Neck: Maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard & black side-dots. Headstock decals are in great shape with no bits missing. Fender open-gear tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body in natural finish. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover. 3-ply black pickguard with thumb-rest. There are no cracks in the guard. Bass weighs 10.75 lbs.
Electronics: Split single coil with original cover. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pickup dates to 1980 & pots date to '79. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. There's a minor crack one of the outside corners of the case, but not too bad.
