The perfectly shaped neck is exceptionally comfortable & plays great up & down the fretboard. Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age, showing only mild play wear. There are various small nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass has an ultra cool, true vintage vibe to it with good, honest play wear & a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with beautifully aged white binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Fender open-back tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in 3-Tone Sunburst. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable barrel saddles with original bridge cover. 4-ply tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracks & has its original black finger rest. Bass weighs 9 lbs 4.7 oz.
Electronics: Two single coil Jazz Bass pickups. Bridge - 7.16K ohms; Middle - 6.59K ohms. Pickups date to '68. Dual volume & master tone controls. Pots date to '66 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
