What makes this bass special: A fabulous playing bass with a smart mod - the pickups were upgraded to active EMG's that sound fantastic. The neck is true & straight & plays like a dream up & down the fretboard. Comes complete with a pro set up from the experts at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty good shape for its age with some typical play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some mild finish wear. Overall the bass has a great look to it & the Walnut finish allows the wood grain to shine through nicely.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with some very light flame figuring in the bass side. Cream binding with black side-dots. Maple fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bullet truss rod & single disc string tree. Fender tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in Walnut finish. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barre" saddles & bridge cover. 3-ply black pickguard with thumb-rest. Unoriginal strap buttons. Bass weighs 11.55 lbs.
Electronics: Unoriginal active EMG's. The pots have been changed & there's a 9-volt battery inside the control cavity. Dual volume controls with knurled knobs & concentric tone controls. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The left clasp is missing & the handle was replaced, but overall the bass is in decent shape.
