Description

What makes this bass special: It's black! Enough said.

Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with an ultra cool vintage vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.

Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with beautiful rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Original tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 5 JUN 69 B.

Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in black. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles with original bridge cover. 3-ply white pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. The guard has aged nicely into more of a cream color & still has its original black finger rest. Bass weighs 9 lbs 0.2 oz.

Electronics: Original split single coil pickup - 10.52K ohms. Original bridge cover is included. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots date to '66 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included.
