Description
Made for only a brief moment in the early '80s, The Strat featured a two-way rotary knob in lieu of a secondary tone control. This gorgeous example is finished in Lake Placid Blue with a combination of both gold & chrome hardware. Recently acquired from the original owner, it's 100% original & has been professionally set up, ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Really great shape for its age with typical, mild play wear - some light finish ageing & tarnish on the hardware. Overall the guitar is pretty clean though.
Neck: Maple neck with black dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Double string trees with with matching LPB finish on the front of the headstock. Fender diecast tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in Lake Placid Blue. Tremolo bridge with adjustable saddle & original trem arm included. 3-ply white pickguard & trem cover. Guitar weighs 10.65 lbs.
Electronics: Three single coil Strat pickups. Bridge - 7.75K ohms; Middle - 6.22K ohms; Neck - 6.12K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with 2-way rotary control. Pots date to '81 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original Fender strap & owner's manual.
