Description
What makes this guitar special: Just like Ron Wood, we also love hardtail Strats & this one is especially cool due to the gorgeous blonde finish & flame figuring in the neck. The grey bottom single coils sound absolutely fantastic & kick out gorgeous, clear, bell-like tones that ring for days. A pro set up by the experts here at Cream City Music ensures the guitar is ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play play wear just the way we like it - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a super cool, authentic vintage look with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded flame maple neck with "skunk" stripe & black dot inlays. Even the maple fingerboard shows some flame figuring. Professionally refretted with period-correct size frets that show no wear. Oversize headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. Headstock decal is in great shape with no bits missing. Original F tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in original Blonde finish. String-thru bridge with adjustable saddles. Unoriginal 3-ply white pickguard by WD. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 0.3 oz.
Electronics: Original grey bottom single coils all date to 1978. Bridge - 5.59K ohms; Middle - 5.57K ohms; Neck - 5.61K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with 5-way selector switch. Pots date to '77 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
