Description
A dynamite player's grade Strat with a somewhat chunky maple neck that feels comfortable anywhere on the fretboard. The natural finish looks super cool & has a gorgeous caramel color to it. The electronics & pickguard are not original, however. The pickups are actually Fender Custom Shop Texas Specials, so quite a nice upgrade for some players. Tight neck/body connection & the guitar is quite resonant. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds terrific!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with an authentic, true vintage vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded, semi-chunky maple neck & fingerboard with black dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Oversize headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. F-logo tuners, however, there were different tuners on the guitar at one time. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural finish. Tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & trem arm included. Unoriginal 3-ply white pickguard & original 3-ply black trem cover. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 9.8 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal Fender Custom Shop Texas Special single coils with staggered poles. Master volume & dual tone controls with 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
