Description
An original vintage 1963 Fender Vibroverb tube combo amp in great condition. The first Fender amp to feature reverb, the brownface Vibroverb was produced for less than a year and is one of the most collectable vintage amplifiers. Fewer than 600 brown Vibroverbs were ever produced.
Aside from some maintainence repairs, this amp is largely original. The power supply and bias capacitors have been replaced, as well as two preamp bypass capacitors. Original power supply and bypass caps will be included with the amp. Additionally, the power cord has been replaced with a modern grounded cord. One of the speakers came to us with a voice coil rub, so we were forced to opt for a re-cone. While no longer 100% original, the speaker was repaired by a world-class re-coner and sounds better than ever.
This is a truly special amplifier that will make the perfect centerpiece to any vintage amp collection. It has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds absolutely fantastic.
