Description
A lovely sounding dreadnought finished in the ever so vibrant & classic Cherry Sunburst. A great feeling & playing Dove that's been professionally set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it's ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape actually for being nearly 50 years old - various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches & some pick wear. There's about a three-inch crack in the back of the body that was professionally glued & a couple of top cracks that were professionally glued as well. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a cool vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Three-piece maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Grover nickel tuners & Dove truss rod cover. 1 11/16" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck was professionally reset. It's straight & the truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, square shoulder dreadnought. Solid spruce top finished in Cherry Sunburst. Ebony bridge with mother of pearl Dove inlays & compensated saddle. Large tortoise pickguard with Dove motif. The pickguard shows a tiny bit of crackling, but is in great shape overall. Solid maple back & sides with center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 5 lbs 4.2 oz.
Case: Unoriginal tweed hardshell case included.
