What makes this bass special: A superb player's grade EB-2 that feels & sounds marvelous. There was a crack in the back of the neck/headstock that was professionally repaired & refinished. The area looks very clean now & there are no playability issues whatsoever. Overall the bass has a great vibe with a warm, rich tone that sounds fantastic. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Wonderful condition for its age & very clean overall. There are some minor nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches & mild weather checking. Overall the bass looks great & has a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded, chunky profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Original banjo-style tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 30 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Wrap-around nickel bridge & 5-ply black pickguard. Bass weighs 8 lbs 7.6 oz.
Electronics: Original neck humbucker with black cover & bezel. Master volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs & "baritone" switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
