Description
An awesome, true vintage vibe that just cannot be matched by any modern relic. This gorgeous EB-2DC is the real deal, with all the charm & mystique we've come to love about these truly magical semi-hollow body basses. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear, just the way we like 'em - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The back of the headstock shows particularly heavy weather checking & there's a 2 pressed into the top, indicating the bass was a factory second. There are no issues either structurally or electronically. Overall the bass has an ultra cool, true vintage vibe to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Chunky mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with very little wear & tons of life them. Open-back nickel tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 30 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Top-loading bridge with string mute & original bridge cover. There are two extra holes in the top where a previous owner tried to re-position the bridge cover. 5-ply black pickguard. Bass weighs 9 lbs 8.4 oz.
Electronics: Full size neck humbucker & mini bridge humbucker with black bezel. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. 3-way toggle switch & Baritone push button. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal Epiphone hardshell case included.
