Description

What makes this guitar special: A nice player with a cool vintage vibe & a warm, woody tone. A little beat up, but still has plenty of life & is tons of fun to play. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready to play straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: This one's seen better days, but is still hanging in there & can deliver the goods when you need it. Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There are several screw holes on the bottom side of the body near the strap button where a metal cover had been. There's quite a large hole around the input jack, which is now covered by an oversized brass plate. There's also a pretty good sized chip out of the treble side corner of the headstock. Overall the guitar shows wear & tear, but still maintains its true vintage charm & shows off a nice patina.

Neck: Chunky mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Unoriginal strip tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Unoriginal strap button in the neck heel.

Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Nickel trapeze tailpiece with compensated rosewood bridge on a floating base. Long tortoise pickguard & sunburst finish top. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 2.1 oz.

Electronics: P-90 single coil neck pickup with black "dog ear" cover - 7.77K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with big gold "barrel" knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Vintage chipboard case included.
