Description

An awesome player's grade J-50 due a neck/headstock repair & refin. However, tonally it sounds great, with a rich, woody voice. Very resonant & tons of fun to play. Great for camping or gigging out, when you don't want to worry about exposing your more expensive acoustic to the dangers of the road. Great feel with an authentic vintage vibe. And thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music, it's ready for action straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There's a crack in the back of the neck right around the third fret that was professionally repaired. As a result the neck was completely refinished along with the headstock & logo. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a cool vintage vibe & nice patina.

Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with some light flame figuring & cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. At some point the neck & fingerboard were taken off, most likely during the repair process, as evidenced by small gaps here & there. Also the heel cap is not original. Unoriginal frets in great shape with no wear. Unoriginal Grover Rotomatic tuners in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod still functions.

Body: Slope Shoulder dreadnought in natural finish. Solid spruce top with 3-ply binding. Unoriginal rosewood bridge, end pins & saddle. Large tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Mahogany sides & back with single-ply binding. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 11.2 oz.

Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
