Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear, typical of its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. As previously mentioned, there is a professionally repaired headstock crack & the neck was refinished. The repair looks great & there are no issues with playability or sound quality. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it with a great vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded, wide profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body with wrap-around, compensated bridge & 3-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 2.1 oz.
Electronics: Dog ear P-90 (7.39K ohms). Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. Pots are original & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage Gibson chipboard case included.
