Description

A great player's grade bass due to a headstock repair. Cool vintage vibe & fully functioning with superb tone & playability. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it plays & sounds great!

Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. There's a crack in the back of the headstock that was professionally repaired & is quite stable. Overall the bass has an authentic vintage look to it with a gorgeous patina.

Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Gibson tuners are in perfect working condition. The E tuner is a Schaller replacement. 1 1/2" nut width; 30 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.

Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body with top binding. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable saddles. Bridge cover is missing. Bass weighs 9 lbs 14.8 oz.

Electronics: Two low impedance humbucking pickups with Hi or Low impedance modes.
In or Out phase switch & 3-way Tone selector. Volume, treble & bass controls with black "top hat" knobs & 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Vintage Gibson hardshell case included.
