100% original & a superb player in great shape. These V2 models were made with a combination of maple & walnut & fitted with a pair of "boomerang" humbuckers. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age with very little play wear - some minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & mild weather checking. There are a couple of "burn" marks up by the headstock, probably from hanging in a guitar stand years ago. Overall the guitar looks really clean & wonderful.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple & walnut neck with cream side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a tiny bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gold Gibson tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" width brass nut; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid maple body with walnut strips. Boomerang tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge & gold hardware. 5-ply small black pickguard. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 7.9 oz.
Electronics: Double "boomerang" humbuckers with black covers & brass bezels. Bridge - 12.41K ohms; Neck - 12.39K ohms. Dual volume & master tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '80 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
