Description
What makes this guitar special: 100% original & just recently acquired from the original owner whose father purchased it for him brand new back in 1957. Beautiful sunburst finish over a flame maple body & chunky maple neck. The double single coils sound nice & deliver warm, rich tones. A cool little number that would make a great addition to any Kay aficionado's collection.

Bound headstock with raised metal Kay logo. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 3/4" scale length.
Body: Single-cutaway, hollow maple body with some nice flame figuring in the top & back. Nickel trapeze tailpiece with floating rosewood bridge & single-ply cream pickguard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 2.1 oz.
Electronics: Two single coils that can be height adjusted. Dual volume & tone controls with "cupcake" knobs; 3-way selector switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
