Description
A vintage 1962 Magnatone Custom 280 tube combo amp. The grill cloth has been replaced, but the amp is otherwise clean and original where it counts. Sometimes referred to as the "Buddy Holly Amp", the 280 is a true stereo combo with authentic pitch-shifting vibrato. The stereo vibrato effect creates an incredibly wide tone that must be heard to be believed. This amp was produced in 1962 and, given its original black tolex, it is likely one of the last 280s produced under the Magnatone name. It has been cleaned and tested. It is fully functional and sounds fantastic. Includes original footswitch.
