Description

A true vintage beauty nearing its 100th birthday, this gorgeous 0-18 is a wonderful player with a warm, rich voice that projects exceptionally well for its size. Lightweight & a real joy to play, it's the perfect couch companion looking for a new home.

Cosmetic Condition: Very nice shape for its age - various little nicks, dents & dings throughout; scratches & some finish wear. There's about a 7" crack in the back of the body that was glued quite some time ago. There are two tiny pin holes in the front of the headstock where a previous plaque used to be & the guitar has been oversprayed.
Overall it has a great look to it with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe & beautiful patina.

Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Bar frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Slotted headstock with rosewood overlay. Original strip tuners work great. 1 7/8" nut width; 24.9" scale length. The neck was professionally reset & there is a shim at the end of the fingerboard.

Body: Double-bound 0-style body in natural finish. Solid adirondak spruce top with multi-ring rosette. Unoriginal ebony pyramid bridge with bone saddle. Ebony bridge pins with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original maple bridgeplate & original braces. Solid mahogany back & sides with wooden endpin. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs a delightful 2 lbs 13.3 oz.

Case: Original chipboard case included.
