A marvelous late '33, 14-Fret 00-17 with an absolutely gorgeous voice - warm & rich sounding with plenty of projection & clarity. Light weight & an absolute joy to play, this beautiful all mahogany 00 is a real keeper & a definite must-have in any acoustic collection. Professionally inspected & set up ready to play straight out of the case. No additional work required.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape considering its age & a superb player. Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some general play wear. The guitar appears to have been refinished quite some time ago. There was a minor crack in the bridge that was professionally repaired by our own luthier. Overall the guitar has a wonderful vibe with a beautiful patina.
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with micro cream dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Grover open-back tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well up & down the fretboard.
Body: OO-size all mahogany body. Rosewood bridge with black end pins. Tortoise pickguard & 3-ring rosette. 14 1/2" lower bout width; 11" upper bout width; 4" depth. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 3 lbs 8.3 oz.
Case: Unoriginal, vintage hardshell case included.
