Description
A really fun D-19 with a gorgeous voice that delivers warm, rich tones. The brown finish top gives the guitar an interesting look that sets it aside from the much more common D-18 with similar specs - solid spruce top with mahogany back & sides. This one is fitted with an after-market K&K pickup & has been professionally set up by the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape overall with some mild play wear - various minor nicks, dents & dings; scratches & some weather checking. There's about a 2 1/2" long crack along the bass-side waist that was professionally repaired (glued & cleated) & also a very minuscule top crack between the pickguard & bridge that is barely noticeable. Overall the guitar has a great vibe to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show only a tiny bit wear & have tons of life in them. Martin diecast tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great up & down the fretboard.
Body: Dreadnought size body with multi-layer top & back binding. Rosewood bridge with black end-pins. Black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany back & sides with thin black center strip. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 6.5 oz.
Electronics: After-market K&K passive under-saddle pickup with 1/4" end-pin jack.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
