Yamaha's AC3R is a concert-sized acoustic electric with a bold, resonant tone and a vintage aesthetic. The AC3R's solid Sitka spruce top and rosewood back/sides form a time-honored tonewood combo that delivers sparkling highs, punchy midrange, and plenty of low-end for a sound that projects and resonates beautifully. You also get the added benefit of Yamaha's A.R.E. wood torrefaction process, which essentially "bakes" the Sitka spruce top to the point that it's broken in, so you get greater stability, fuller sound, and a cool aged look. The AC3R also plays incredibly well, with an African Mahogany neck and smooth-playing Ebony fingerboard with a cutaway body for convenient high-fret access. And with Yamaha's SRT2 pickup system, every bit of the AC3R's voice is heard when playing plugged-in.
