Have you ever wanted to work in an exciting and dynamic guitar shop and are looking for a flexible part-time position?

Cream City Music is searching for talented people to join our exciting online sales team. We’re seeking motivated, passionate, and thoughtful individuals who can continue our tradition of exceptional customer service, deep knowledge of musical gear, and help us grow our business.  This position will give you a chance to work directly with new music gear, while working collaboratively with other people who live for guitars, basses, amps, effects, making music, and retail sales.

The newest opening here at our shop is a part-time entry level position focused on working as part of our online sales team handling new guitars, basses, and effects. You will have the opportunity to learn about the latest products with hands on experience handling the gear you’re selling. You will be tasked with the responsibility of creating content for new products that Cream City Music acquires and overseeing its journey from our showroom floor into the hands of it’s new owner.

We’ve assembled a team of great people who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of all the customers who are a part of the Cream City Music family.

Requirements:

•A desire to learn about guitars, basses, amps, and effects

•A candidate who is a musician with a passion for gear is preferred

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•PC Proficient with ability to learn quickly

•Confidence in building and maintaining customer relationships

•Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

•Self-motivated with excellent critical thinking skills

•A positive and upbeat attitude and and a proactive mindset

•Willingness to learn product photography skills

•Experience in the following preferred but not required:

Photoshop, Using a DSLR camera, Buying & Selling on Reverb, eBay, and Amazon

Responsibilities:

•Photographing new musical instruments and gear and editing those images

•Writing original descriptive content about music gear based on established company standards

•Posting music gear on all of our online sales marketplaces

•Manage customer service requests from in-store, phone and online marketplaces

•Quickly respond to online product questions in real-time via online chat

•Provide support for in-house operations across multiple departments

•Be willing to go the extra mile to help our small business be successful
