What makes this guitar special: Cool vintage vibe with a strong cherry sunburst finish. Depite its less than stellar appearance, the guitar offers a great acoustic tone & a comfortable feel. Tons of fun to play & very affordable.
Cosmetic Condition: Professionally repaired headstock cracks. It's sort of a Y-shaped crack - with one long line going down the middle of headstock & then splitting off with two cracks on either side of the neck. The repair was very well done & is quite stable with no movement & no playability issues. Aside from that the guitar is in pretty good shape for its age - some minor nicks & dings; surface scratches & light finish checking. The guitar has been professionally set up by us & plays great!
Neck: Very comfortable mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. A couple of the inlays appear to have been replaced. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Original Kluson Deluxe strip tuners are in good working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with single F-hole. Chrome trapeze tailpiece with compensated rosewood bridge. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 3.2 oz.
Pickup: Single-coil neck pickup - 7.21K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
