Description
What makes this guitar special: A super resonant piece from ’93, with gorgeous flame maple figuring and a hyper-smooth rosewood fingerboard. The neck feel on this piece is positively spectacular, with a fantastic rounded profile that allows for effortless maneuverability. The amber finish has aged beautifully too, into a nice light butterscotch/caramel color, giving this one stellar looks to match its stellar playability. It comes professionally setup by our expert in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Great shape for its age, with some typical playwear throughout. There are various small scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs throughout, with visible finish checking on the headstock and buckle rash throughout the back of the body. The top shows some surface level pickwear, and the frets have some very minor wear, but still have a ton of life left in them. There are also a handful of lines on the back of the guitar that appear to have been drawn on in ink, and a couple small chips as seen in the photos. For its age, this one is an 8/10.
Body: Solid mahogany body in with bound 3-piece maple cap in amber flame finish. Gold Tune-O-Matic bridge and gold stopbar tailpiece with cream colored pickguard and pickup bezels.
Weight: 9 lb, 15.6 oz
Neck: C-shaped mahogany neck with black side dots and pearl trapezoid inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Black headstock overlay with pearl Gibson logo and gold Les Paul script logo. Gold Gibson Deluxe tuners function perfectly. Double bound rosewood fingerboard is in marvelous shape, and frets show only light wear with a ton of life left in them. Neck is straight and truss rod is fully functional.
Electronics: Dual 57 Classic humbuckers with gold covers (Neck-9.03K ohms, Bridge-8.87K ohms), 3 way pickup selector switch, and gold speed knobs, 2x tone, 2x volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included. The rear latch has been flattened at some point, but still functions fine.
