Description
What makes this guitar special: Handcrafted by Michael Pedulla in his Massachusetts workshop, Pedulla basses have garnered a strong reputation amongst players for terrific build quality and playability that far exceeds their price point. This piece is no exception, with an excellent balance and neck feel that make it extremely comfortable to play, and a straightforward Bartolini pickup system that is both versatile, and easy to navigate. This bass has been professionally inspected and set up by our expert in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play right out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Terrific shape for its age, with some standard playwear throughout. There are a handful of scratches, dents, dings, and scuffs, with some mild surface level buckle rash and light fretwear. The instrument does carry a slight smell of smoke, as does the case, but it isn’t overwhelming. For its age, this one is an 8/10.
Body: Solid maple body in black finish with 3-ply pearloid pickguard and top loading bridge with steel barrel saddles.
Weight: 9 lb, 7 oz
Neck: Slim one-piece maple neck with gray side dots and pearl dot inlays. Nicely variegated rosewood fingerboard is in superb shape, and while frets show some wear, there is still a lot of life left in them. Black headstock overlay with white Pedulla logo and chrome sealed Gotoh tuners in perfect functioning condition. 1 15/16” nut width, 34” scale length. Neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.
Electronics: Single Bartolini soapbar pickup with adjustable volume, bass, and treble, as well as mid-range boost toggle.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
