What makes this guitar special: A full-bodied beauty with a fantastic tonal balance and stellar playability. The solid Sitka Spruce top provides ample projection, while the beautifully variegated rosewood back and sides supply a beautiful midrange sound with a full low end and just the right amount of high-end chime. It’s no slouch in the looks department either, with a plethora of premium appointments including an abalone rosette, ebony fingerboard, and a solid mahogany neck with one of the most comfortable D-shapes you’ll ever get your hands on. This gorgeous piece has been professionally inspected and setup by our in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play right out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: This one has been played, but not abused. It’s been broken in nicely, and the wood has really opened up. There are various expected signs of wear throughout, including scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs throughout. There is visible pickwear on the front of the guitar on both sides of the soundhole, some surface level buckle rash on the back of the body, and some scuffing and denting on top of the headstock. There is also one very small surface level crack next to the bass side of the saddle on top of the bridge, and a single deep scratch on the bass side of the lower bout near where the arm rests.
Body: Solid rosewood back and sides with flame maple binding. Solid Sitka Spruce top with multi-ring ivoroid/abalone/ivoroid rosette. Tortoise pickguard and rosewood bridge with pearl inlaid black bridge pins.
Weight: 4 lb, 13 oz
Neck: D-shaped mahogany neck with black side dots and mini pearl dot inlays. Double bound ebony fingerboard is in phenomenal shape, and frets are in great shape too, with only some visible wear in the first position. Headstock sports a rosewood overlay with pearl Larrivee logo and border, and chrome sealed tuners in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight and plays beautifully up and down the length of the fingerboard.
Electronics: Mounted under saddle pickup with strap-button 1/4" input.
